So excited to announce I will be hitting the recording studio this month to start work on a few songs.
I have wanted to do this since I was in high school. About time huh? I love all kinds of music . . . but “dance music” is my favorite. If I had to choose a role model it would be Jennifer Lopez. She has true passion for what she does and it shows. I love her style and the fact that to this day, she remains grounded and never forgets where she came from.
I know I will never be her, but that’s alright because she inspires me to go out and do something I would have never done years ago. I was too busy being a high level executive and a workaholic in the corporate/government world. Now, I am pursuing something I wanted to do but never had the guts to do.
I am working with an awesome set of international known music producers from New Jersey. They are Grammy nominated and Multiplatinum Producers, Steve “Mr. Mig” Migliore and Mike Rizzo of Global Groove Entertainment. These guys have been in the music industry for a long time. They have produced, written songs, remixed and promoted over 50 Top 10 Billboard charting songs! They have worked with artists like Taylor Swift and remixed numerous songs for Beyoncé, Carmen Electra and Usher. Most importantly, they are really down to earth guys, who have a passion for music and want each client to succeed.
It is amazing how technology plays a role in producing and recording music. It’s all digitized and synthesized in ways never thought possible. Technology has truly changed the way artists approach music and continuously use it to add new rhythms to their final productions.
After my songs are recorded, the next step will be to promote it to the top DJs in the country as well as other music outlets. Let’s see where it goes! I am not expecting to become a big star, but I know one thing: I am going to have fun with it, move to the music and fulfill a dream I have had since I was 17!
